New rules for obtaining residence permit in Turkey - what do I need to know?

1️⃣ Rental housing in "open" neighborhoods 
Rent an apartment in an authorized residence permit area and receive a 6-month renewable tourist residence permit. A bank statement with monthly receipts equal to 1.5 minimum wages (about 30,000 TL) will be required for renewal.. 

2️⃣ Real estate up to $200,000 
Buying an apartment below $200,000 in "open" areas also provides the opportunity to obtain a tourist residence permit with the same renewal conditions. 

3️⃣ Real estate from $200,000 and up 
The purchase of real estate more expensive than $ 200 000 opens you the way not only to residence permit on TAPU, but also to the possible citizenship of Turkey in the future!

4️⃣ Closed areas 
For areas closed for residence permits, the rules remain the same - it is impossible to obtain a residence permit in these areas.
